UPDATE: I am getting a bit disheartened trying to help folk here. I live next door to Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont but any time there is a request, it is fulfilled immediately. Today I missed a chance to photograph for someone because when the posting was less then a minute old, someone had claimed it. |
I no longer go to the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward because they do not want to help and make sure you know it additionally they make it difficult to get information. I was told to drop off the name (and only one name at a time) and come back later that day or the next day. I live in a high traffic area and am unemployed so that is just not feasible to make two trips.
I became the family historian after the surprising death of my Grandmother in 2008. It can be incredibly difficult finding documentation for some family members and it is to this end that I offer my services to fellow 'tree climbers'.
I live in Fremont and am able to photograph any memorials conveniently in Fremont, Newark, Union City and Sunol.
I, not surprisingly have a couple of public trees on Ancestry.com I use the same evesparadox as my member name there. If you think I may have info on your relatives, you are free to look and see.
Drop me a line if I can be of any help.

Thanks for the quick response! The Severins were my maternal great-grandparents.

Thank you, Laura, for drawing this to my attention. Sorry for any inconvenience ! Volunteer photogs like you do the best work in making these memorials 'come alive'. Thank you, again.

Thank you so much for finding and photographing my distant relative, James Noyes, final resting spot! It gives me peace of mind and allows me to know he is cared for. Living in NH I would have never been able to visit, so the photo is wonderful to have. God Bless you, Lauren
