I am a Grayson also, my fathers grandfather was Napoleon Bonaparte Grayson. My grandfather was Joseph Eugene Grayson, he was a WW II Vet and today I just located his marker in Eutaw, Alabama. My grandmother confirmed it was him. He was born January 4, 1929 and died in 1979.
My grandmother located my grandfathers military records and she said that Napoleon was married to Evalyn Brieham (sp?) Grayson. I also located her marker record on here she is also in the same exact cemetery as my grandfather.
I have also located a Napoleon Grayson in Oklahoma and it stated that he is a Private. I have no idea how to check to see if that is my fathers grandfather.
So, do you think we could be related?

Hi Crissi, Sorry i took so long to get back to you. I've been swamped with work and other issues the last few days.
I have two Napolean Bonapart Graysons in my database, but I don't if either is yours. I have one's dates as 1815-1856. He married Joanne (Ann) Ellett. I don' have a place of death or burial.
His father was John Clan Grayson (my 4th great grandfather), who was part of the crew who surveyed Madison County, AL. in the early 1800s before it was a county. John is buried in Grayson Cemetery in Big Cove, Madison County.
If this is your line, let me know. The other NB Grayson (abt 1839-aft 1910). I show he died in Madison County, but I don't know where he's buried. His wife was Maggie Lyon.
Send me dates and whatever else you know about them and I'll try to match them up.
