|I live in Texas and have been interested in genealogy and family history for quite some time. |
I've found the Find A Grave web site helpful in researching my family history.
If you find a memorial of a relative or friend you would like to maintain, and it's not my relative or a dear friend, I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you.
If you have a better picture of a headstone than I have taken let me know and I will delete mine.
I appreciate the work done by others and I'm happy to return the favor by adding content as time permits.
I don't know who wrote this poem but how true it is.
THE CEMETERY PHOTOGRAPHER
Wandering among the stones I see
The stones so weathered and worn
‘Tis difficult to find the date
On which the babe was born
I stare at the stone and am struck with awe
At the life that I knew was gone
This was someone's child, a babe so sweet
With loved ones to carry on
So I take a photo for all to see
For the family that remains
An everlasting memory of
A child of God's domain
I brush the weeds back from the stone
And say a silent prayer
For the babes that had no chance to live
And for mothers everywhere
The dove calls out it's mourning song
Among the stones so still
Echoes of the woes, through time
The choirs of despair
The stone will someday perish
The flowers will be gone
But a photo now remains of this
Their memory lives on!
And so my friend, don't hesitate
To film the weathered stone
Those who live within your hearts
Are never truly gone!

|Sandra Munn Spann||RE: Keel|
There are a number of Keel graves in Matinburg Cemetery. I have put James T. Keel on the site. There is no William Warren Keel listed.

Need a source citation for the obit due to copyright law.
|Mick||RE: Jack W Kulnar, Jr (63341654) being the son of Patricia Donnelly (123120055)|
The Donnelly obituary mentions Jack W Kulnar, Sr being a son who pre-deceased her. It is possible he had a son with the same name and could be her son. I am not related, his memorial was one I created when photographing the cemetery. Perhaps further research will prove/disprove the relationship. If you have interest in this line let me know if wish a link or transfer to you for further additions.

|junebb||Doris F. Bouton|
Hi, I received your addition to be added to the memorial for Doris Bouton. I was out of town for several days but have just added your edit to her memorial page. The only thing I wasn't sure about was her name, if you could clarify it for me I'll make the change. Her marker says, "Doris Fern Bouton" and your request is for "Doris Fey Bouton".
My edit says, "Doris F. Bouton". Thank you for sending the information. Sincerely. June
