My alias-name is Nana. I am born July 1962 in West-Germany and live still there. For a time I lived in France. I am Catholic. I am a worker in a factory. I sing in a choir, play guitar and sometimes I paint pictures. And my 'holy cow' is the Railway and the queen of all engines the steam-locomotive. "Cacey Jones" is a wellknown name to me. I found your web-side looking photos of J.B.Ismay. Also unforgettable in my heart is the CREW OF THE "KURSK" who died 2001 in their submarine. GOD LET THEM REST IN PEACE. And I like very much your Memorial-battleship "USS NORTH CAROLINA". | |

 | ~Thank You~ Dear Nana, first of all I'd like to thank you for the flowers & notes you're leaving at Bruce Ismay's memorial. I truly appreciate your kindness; it's nice to meet someone who's not blinded by hate.. Titanic sank 100 years ago, but people still blame Bruce for everything that happened that night...isn't it silly? Bruce probably made many mistakes, but I believe he was not a bad guy..and he deserves forgiveness and peace. Thank you for loving & remembering him..
Well, the next thing: virtual flowers. I read your comment today; you wrote you wish to leave animated gifs too. You don't know how to do it, Nana? Really not? It's pretty simple; if you want I'll give you a lesson ;)
Okey, first you have to learn to manage your scrapbook; scrapbook is a place where your virtual flowers are stored. So: 1) Go to your 'Contributor Tools' (you can see it in the column on the left). 2) Click on Edit 'My Scrapbook'. 3) Choose 'Add new item to My Scrapbook'. 4) Follow the instructions written there :)
..you can upload your own gifs (or free gifs downloaded from another websites) ..or you can choose from hundreds and thousands of images added by our 'Find a Grave' mates
That's all, really not difficult! :)

 | Captain Vanin memorial Dear Nana, Thank you for notifying me that you have posted a memorial for Captain Vanin (#93621731). I am especially impressed with submariners for their courage in going to sea in underwater vessels. I posted flowers for Capt. Vanin. Nice to hear from you again; take good care of yourself. Also, your bio picture is very funny.Added by Alpaw on Jul 16, 2012 2:52 PM | | |
