Hattie (1876-1922) married James Franklin Miller and Mattie (1876-1951) married Thomas Joseph Quinn, their mother Nancy Gemima Hite (1842-1911) was his 2nd marriage, they married 3 Aug 1875 Davidson, TN. Calvin's 1st marriage was to Margaret Jane Lowery 10 Jul 1850 in Davidson, TN. They had 9 known children: Sarah Jane, Mary Elizabeth, Polly Ann, Alex, Anna, Jefferson Beauregard, John A, Elnora "Nora" and Martha. Calvin and 2nd wife Nancy are buried in Spring Hill Cemetery, you can find them on www.findagrave.com
Calvin Brannom I searched in the Tennessee State Library and Archives Death Notices in Nashville Newspapers 1855-1907 and could not find any death notices for any Brannoms, I also looked under other spellings to see if it was mispelled and couldn't find anything, they probably didn't have the money to print the obit.
Calvin Brannom He is my great great grand-father thru his twin daughter Hattie who married James Franklin Miller. That is not his obit you see on Find A Grave it is his info I have gathered from death cer., marriage records, military records and census.
I just sent you an email through your gmail address. This one appeared to go through. Let me know if you get it. My personal email address should be on it. Use it in the future to contact me. That way you can get more information than going through the public postings.
RE: William and Hannah Manning I am not related to these people. I attended a special ceremony on the re-dedication of the Dubois Cemetery because of Civil War veterans buried there. I then followed up by putting the information I had on this site.
I'm not sure when I'll be back to Maple Grove Cemetery. I'd recommend that you click on the "Request a Photo" button each person's memorial page in the hopes that someone who lives closer to the cemetery may be able to fulfill the requests quicker than I can. If unfulfilled by the next time I visit Maple Grove, I'll locate and photograph them for you.
