Ken Dueitt -- Okwakee Cemetery
Breta, I transferred ownership of Ken Dueitt at Okwakee to you. You can now do any linking you need to do.

RE: Ken Dueitt
I entered Ken Dueitt's record and the headstone pics that I took in the correct spelling (Okwakee). I also entered the photos of the headstone in the incorrect spelling of the cemetery. (Oakwalkie). You would have to put your photo of the couple into the record in Okwakee if you want it there. Looks as though Mary Palmer is the owner of most of the memorials in the incorrect spelling of the cemetery. She would have to remove them. She evidently got her info from records and not from an actual visit to the cemetery or she would have seen the cemetery name sign at the actual location.

Ken Dueitt
This spelling of this Cemetery is incorrect. The cemetery has already been photographed under the correct spelling "OKWAKEE". However, Ken Dueitt was not among them. You will find Ken's spouse listed in the correct spelling of the cemetery. The spelling where you have made your memorial for Ken is the incorrect spelling "Oakwalkie". There are 17 graves listed in this spelling by mistake.

RE: Photo requests
The only other cemetery that I know of between the fairgrounds and where the paper mill used to be is MacPelah Cemetery on MacPelah St. (which is just across from the fairgrounds). It is a quite large and still active graveyard. I don't know who manages it, but there may be a index maintained by someone...?

Photo requests
Hi - I just spent about an hour walking Union Cemetery in Moss Point and did not find the 4 names your are looking for. Being an older cemetery, there are plenty of unmarked sites and illegible markers. Are you aware that Mattie Miller (d. 1924, apparently giving birth) is daughter of WM & Minerval "Minnie" Smith? That headstone is already in the database. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, and good luck!
-Frank

RE: Jehu Cemetery
You are welcome. I also added Pasty's husband Benny Lister and a small child Michael Dean Lister. This is funny but if I had seen the request for the photo in Mobile, I could have gotten it, I was there from Sat to yesterday. LOL
