Bio Photo This is GGGGGrandpa Oliver Harding! My cousin & I were ecstatic when we found his & GGGGGrandma Chloe's "cemetery" on Harding Hill private property where they homesteaded in the late 1700's! He died in 1838. The schoolhouse AND outhouse foundations are still there! How we wish we could have known him!

Sponsor of Oakwood cemetery stones.
I found your phone message to me and want to thank you for your kind words on the restoration work being done in Oakwood Cemetery. It made my day to know someone appreciates the work being done.

Hi Pat,
You shared a photo on the memorial for Chauncey Ross and I was wondering if you can identify the other stones in the plot? They do not appear to be added to the cemetery. Thanks for your help!

RE: Dodges of Arena, WI
I have been in contact with another Dodge relative now living in Canada. I still have some more Dodge pics to take in Mazomanie and some in Dodgeville.

Hey Pat,
Did you make it out back out to the cemetery??

Did you ever figure out who the unreadable stone was?

Just wondering

Dr. Horace White

Well, you certainly found his stone. I would think that somebody at the Beloit Historical Society would be interested in your discoveries. Thanks again. -- Tom

Oakwood Cemetery
I noticed you added photos to my memorial in Oakwood cemetery of stones that where buried when I was out there 2 weeks ago. I was just wondering if you uncovered them???? I've been writing the city for months now trying to get them to go out (or give me permission to) uncover them. I'd love to maybe meet up with you and do some more if you'd be up to it.

Interested in them? I would be happy to just email them to you. Pat"

My reply:
Thanks for fulfilling all my other requests in Oakwood Cemetery - good job!! I will let you add all those Ross memorials & cemetery photos. Since they are photos you took, you have the copyright to them & are the only person who can add them. I'm sure someday, someone will come along who would truly appreciate seeing them out there. Please go ahead & add them all - and thanks so very much for your special contributions to this priceless website!
