Bio Photo I love history and cemeteries are another way to study history. I am not able to walk cemeteries any longer so this is a perfect way to visit the resting place of loved ones and visit ancestors I never knew but know I have some of their characteristics. My maiden name is Clark and Knox is my mother's maiden name

My research interests are Clark, McIlvaine, Paxton; in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Montana. Knox, Phillips, Dennis, Tennison; North Carolina South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Illinois.

RE: Nixs
Diane: Your very welcome. I was going to the cemetery yesterday to visit my parents that's why I could fill your request so fast. Chris

RE: Infant Bender
The gravestone for Vernon Kent Bender, Sr. that I saw is in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Is this not the one you were talking about?

RE: Infant Bender
It seems odd that there is not listing for Vernon Sr but there is a gravestone in find a grave. The website I sent was completed in 1999. I also found where a Vernon Bender was the owner of the plot where Katherine and Gregory are buried.

RE: Infant Bender

You might view this website. It has an alpahbetical list of all the burials in Prairie Lawn Cemetery. I noticed an Edith Alene Bender so maybe that is your Alene. The sexton also spelled it with and n. If i didn't answer all of your questions let me know. I think this website will help.

I did change the statement with the picture to reflect the relationship of Robert and Clara.

RE: Infant Bender
I just noticed you requested photos of the Quimby's. The stone with the infant has the spelling Quinby with an "n" and the adjacent stone is Elizabeth Quinby. Maybe this will help.

RE: Infant Bender
I contacted the Sexton and the only definite information he had is that the child passed away on 9/5/1942. Clara and Robert are buried in adjacent lots to the Quinby graves. We noticed that there are Quinby's with an "n" and Quimby's with an "m" in this cemetery. I don't know if this is a duplicate because the dates don't exactly match. Just thought you would like to know. Hope this helps some.

Celestina 47091526 put in the memorial for Edith Bender so I cannot put any information on the memorial.
