Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in old cemeteries for way over 35 years stopping to see them in my travels but didn't know about Find a Grave until a couple years ago.
The graves I have listed stared out to be the ones that I was familiar with that were hiding below an inch of dirt, a sage brush or beneath the sod. Some are family members that I knew where they were buried but unknown to most so I have visited with sextons in several cemeteries in Idaho & Utah to make sure of their location.
I have had some family transfered to me and some who are not family have been transfered for one reason or an other.
These are not just random graves that are in my care.......I have a personal interest in each of them.
As I continue my research I am finding more family graves that aren't on Find a Grave.....so my list keeps getting longer. I have attached a lot of families with the help of other contributors, I appreciate the help of those who attach photos of headstones.... photos are confirmation of their final resting place.

Hello Smallantique!

"Thank You" for all your endeavors as a Find-A-Grave contributor! .. and, yes, thanks to you, I have found one of my family members, Maggie (Queen) Payne!

If she is not one of your family members, would you mind transferring her Memorial to me? If you prefer to retain it, would you please link her to her parents?
Absalom Queen, Mem #39244873
and
Miriam (Queen) Queen, Mem #53429852

Maggie and I are Gr-Gr-Gr-Grand-daughters of Absalom & Nancy (Murphy) Queen, Queens Ridge Cemetery, Wayne County, WV, and I would like to link her to her parents (they were the parents of 16 children!! and she was #7 (if I counted correctly!!). Both Absalom & Miriam (Queen) Queen were descendants of Absalom & Nany (Murphy) Queen.

I'm still searching for Maggie's sister, Anna Queen, DOB 5-13-1882 - so far, have found no records except her DOB, names of parents ... soooo, it appears that I still need to SEARCH!

My Gr-Gr-Gr-Grandfather, Absalom Queen was born in 1791 and set aside the land for the historic Queens Ridge Cemetery, Dunlow, Wayne County, WV, if you would like to review it (has over 300 grave-sites). Several descendants of Absalom & Nancy's migrated "westwardly" and we have located many of them.

Again, my sincere appreciation for all you do for all of us - perhaps some day, in your searching, you will find Anna.

Respectfully,
Della

RE: Robert W Larkin
How nice that you were able to find him. I didn't know that story of the Larkin church in Carey. Its a great legacy. It might be nice to put a picture of the Larkin church in the Memorial. Just a thought. Are you in the area?
Thank you for your work
Mike

RE: Robert W Larkin
The McGoldrick Funeral Records indicate that Robert W Larkin was sent to William Patterson in Greenfield, Ohio and Robert was buried in Leesburg, Ohio

Thank You so much for the parent link for baby Lavina .. that's such a good feeling ...
Her grave is unmarked like so many of the other babies in that section of the cemetery ....

Hi, Hope you don't mind but please remove the flower with this message,
"As a gift I have requested that Beth's Memorial be attached to her Parent's Memorials." That is not what the flowers are for.
I will gladly attach the parents to her per your request. Thanks, Donna

You're welcome! Albert would be a distant relative, through marriage. I have concentrated on the Gent side more than one normally would, because I have received a lot of help with genealogy from Nancy Gent, who has been caretaker for Ida Dixon's extensive collection of family records and photos for the extended Dixon/Hyndman/Gent/Clifford/Rain family, and beyond. She has lovingly cared for and added to the collection, and so I've concentrated on adding to the Gent family find-a-grave memorials, where possible. I hope you keep in touch. How are you related, and do you live in the Alton, IL area?
