|My husband is retired USAF and Law Enforcement. We currently reside in the Tucson Az area and have the time to take photos. It would be a good thing and an interesting thing to do|

If you go to the memorial that you want transferred, there is an 'edit' tab in the upper right protion of the page. Click on that and it will bring you to an 'Actions' page. Click on the first option. "Suggest a correction or provide additional information"
That gives you a message box to send a message to the owner of the memorial. The Find A Grave "guidelines" are if the person is your grandparent, parent, sibling or child, then they are required to transfer to you if you ask. If they aren't in the 4 generation guideline, they don't have to transfer. You'll find many that follow that guideline to the T and others that will transfer if you state your actual relationship. So when you request, be sure to state the exact relationship to that person. Some folks will ignore you completely so good luck with this. If they are in the 4 generation guideline and you get no response, you can contact Find A Grave administrators directley. Use the Help with Find A Grave action link on the left side of the memorial.
Hello, thanks for the sponsorship of the memorial. If this is your relative just let me know and I'll transfer. My name is Phillips, but there is no relation on my part. Thanks!
