I saw your post about Washburn St. Cemetery on another's page. There is a new person managing the cemetery. He only took over a couple of months ago and he is very eager to help out with finding graves. He even finds them and then meets up with the individual to escort them through the winding rows. He still can't pick up the fallen stones, since they are "private property." The monument company has to come out to lift them. I think that the care of the place is going to start getting better. Best of luck searching and maybe we'll run into each other while searching!

Thank you for the update. I know that the cemetery is in rough shape. My husband & I stopped last summer on our way to upstate NY and did not even bother to get out of the truck. We have hoped to get back up there, we live in Waynesboro PA., but we have not had a free weekend to head up and search. If you do happen to find Susan, I would be interested to see if her husband, Abraham Lincoln Flanigan and her mother Adeliza Spencer Birney are also buried there. If we do get a chance to go up this fall I will contact you to see what sections you have searched so as not to duplicate our efforts. I appreciate you looking, Susan & A L Flanigan are my husbands great grandparents.
