|Family has always been important to me, and was fortunate enough to know all of my grandparents and 3 of my great-grandmothers and 1 great grandfather -- each from different "branches" of my family tree. They each had stories -- just wished I had listened more closely. Since retiring, I have more time to research my roots and be able to leave this for my children and grandchildren .|

You are very welcome. I live in Texas but visit AL about twice a year. I did not notice another Larkins grave nearby. There were a rather large amount of unmarked "slabs" for a cemetery this size and I'm not sure why. I will look again the next time I'm doen that way but it could be awhile.

Not directly kin to the Collins. Martha had a daughter, Sarah Jane Collins Rider. Sarah had a few children who married into my Johnson Family. Sarah and husband Edgar Rider lived near Bay Minette, AL in Whitehouse Fork...

Thank you so much for the offer of information about Mineola Cemetery. I will be getting in touch with you soon. I'm trying to wrap up a project with Magnolia Cemetery here in Mobile and that's keeping me busy right now. I plan to go through my memorials at Mineola and Weatherford cemeteries and do some more research. What I'm mainly looking for is information on marriages, maiden names, parents, children, etc.
My mother's aunt was Laura Boone, wife of John Godwin, both in Weatherford cemetery. My grandparents were Ernest and Lucile Boone. All of them lived on what is now Iris Peavy Road.
I will get back to you sometime in the next month or so. Thanks again.
