What began as simply trying to find out when the spelling of 'Chamberlin' changed from '-lain', has become an interesting, time consuming, and sometimes addicting hobby. I look forward to retirement so I can devote more time to it.|

|Paul Hinrichs||Luella Chamberlin|
Hello, Bob. I've submitted a correction for the spelling of Luella's maiden name - should be "Hinrichs".
Luella is my 2nd cousin.
I've been searching for burial info on my great-grandmother Margaretha Catherine Hinrichs, maiden name Battcher (she is Luella's paternal great-grandmother also). The last info I have for her is that she was living with my grandfather William Hinrichs on Dunton St in Arlington Heights when the 1900 census was taken. St. Peter Lutheran Church records state she died on 12 Apr 1905, but they did not perform the funeral. Her husband died in Germany before she emigrated to the US with her children in 1873. She is not buried anywhere in Arlington Heights or Palatine even though she had only 2 living sons at the time, and they are buried in St. Peter's cemetery and Memory Gardens in Arl Hts. Do you have any info, anecdotes, or hints relating to her?

Bob - thank you for the transfer, it was not really necessary! It is still nice to meet another 'cousin' - John Schroeder is a descendant of Daniel and Elanor's son Elam, your third-great grandmother's brother. He did a huge piece of work mapping the Abbott Cemetery in Stockbridge. I worked with him to take his website to the next step, as I am a database/web programmer. Wonder if you've visited our 'non-findagrave- site? www.abbottfamilycemetery.com - where Daniel and Elanor rest? Did you know Elanor Blodget(t) Abbott is an Alden, descended from John and Priscilla?
I think you will be pleased with what I just attached to your third-great grandmother's page. It is the ORIGINAL town record, not the index card.

I never trust Ancestry... but in this case, your guess was on the money! Go take a look.
Warm regards, cousin...

Thank you so much for suggesting I link them to Bernice. If you find any more links I can make please let me know.

You're welcome. I don't know the exact location in section E, but it is in the south-east part of that section, in case you have a chance to visit the cemetery.

I noticed your photo request at FindAGrave for Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois. I was doing some research and taking pictures last summer and realized that I had pictures of the graves of Johann and Louise Krogmann. They are not the best of pictures so I thought I would check with you first. I'll be glad to fulfill your request and let you determine if the pictures are good enough. Do you want me to add them for you to check?

I made the corrections as per your request. If they are family, do you want me to transfer?

I have transferred the management of the Chamberlin family over to you. The transfers were Julius and Nenah and their children, Roy, Herbert and Charles, along with their spouses.
Welcome to Find A Grave.

Thanks so much for catching my boo boo! I have since made the corrections you asked for.
Would you like me to transfer the memorials to you since you are more connected to them than I? Della Chamberlin was my second cousin, twice removed.
By the way, would this be the Emma Katherine Ritta, #32067156, and Lewis Earl Ritta, #32067161, you are looking for? If it is the same ones, there is also a memorial for their son, Ralph Lewis Ritta, #18801765, that you might be interested in.
