I have been doing genealogy as a hobby for over 20 years and am gradually adding members of my family and others to Find A Grave, and/or adding personal photos from my collection and details to memorials which you wonderful folks have already added. I have Swedish ancestry and enjoy doing Swedish research in my spare time.
I also enjoy visiting cemeteries and will continue to enter new memorials when I have the time and opportunity.
Please use the edit tab and click the "suggest a correction" link for memorial corrections or additions.
My grave photos are free to anyone for non-profit use, and it would be nice if you gave credit to Find A Grave.
Thanks to everyone for your contributions and for so promptly filling requests! I will upgrade all memorials where photo requests of mine are fulfilled. | |

thanks very much, that's very interesting, do you know is there a list in the wood panel for all the graves? It's difficult to see from the photo.
I would be very grateful when you are next visiting the cemetery, if it's really not too much trouble, for you to look for Flt Lt C K Ross - as I mentioned before he died on the same date, so I'm not sure if the graves will be close together.

Hi Bob, I came across your listing for Sqn Ldr B Watson whilst searching for a relative of mine at the same cemetery who died on the same date and was wondering if he was a relative of yours? Have you visited the cemetery and is it easy to find grave, I believe there would be 6 graves for airmen who died on the same date.

I've been sitting , trying to figure out why things might have come through double like that. I'd uploaded several photos in the same sitting and haven't been told of any glitches. Now that I think of it, though, when I went to upload, I hit the key, then realized that it was the "shortcut" version of the photo rather than the "JPEG" version, which for some reason wasn't listed as an option, as it usually is. I didn't know what the ramifications would be, so I didn't complete the final phase of the upload, but canceled the action, then went back to try to the process with JPEG, which I did. Guess I didn't cancel the first action after all.

Hi Bob,
Thank you for the two photos of his grave. I wonder what the maiden name is all about and the date does look like 1953 on the stone,or a nervous zero. :)
