I have always liked to study my family tree but in the last few years I have started to really try to trace both sides of my family (Callahan & Kivett) then my Mother in-law J.Freeman introduced me to Find A Grave and it has been so nice using this site.

Grave of Allen Scott
I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. L, 22nd NC Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Allen Scott's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.

edit requests
Also, I made some additions to the graveyard and some of them are tied to other family members who's memorials you have been transfered from other members, if there are any you want transferred to you, just request and I will fulfill it.

Excessive requests
Sorry Todd for bombarding you with excessive edit requests but I went to the Panther Creek Ch. Cemetery today and tried to get photos of every stone that didn't have one and as I was uploading them is when I noticed most of the discrepancies, the information I got came directly off the stones themselves and as we all know the stones aren't always right so if you have other documentation that backs up what you had originally listed by all means leave it as is and let the stone stand alone and speak for itself. If you have any questions about any of the requests, don't hesitate to email me.

Robert Callahan
You know, I'll bet he died in 1915 since he is not on the 1920 census.

RE: Robert Callahan
I got t from the FamilySearch.org pages and will have to double-check with a friend of mine in Surry County to be sure, but I think he was shown in the 1930 census as being alive in Surry.
