RE: Cromwell cemetery
Hi! It was actually Mr. and Mrs. John Pianka who visited the cemetery and took the photos. I made note of that on each photo. They were so nice to donate them. The cemetery is on private property, however, they obtained permission to take the photos. Considering the location and current condition of the cemetery, I am very grateful.

Charles & Justine Yaeger
Mystery solved. I spoke with the director at Sunland and found that Charles was placed in the mausoleum, but moved to another site on the grounds. No reason given why except the first placement was temporary.
The placque on Justine's marker will be in place tomorrow.
To update your photos I will place new photos on each of the memorials.
Best wishes.

Yaeger photo request
Today I went to Sunland Memorial to fulfill your photo request for Justine Yaeger. It seems the year placque had not been ordered by the cemetery representative. I presented them with this issue and they promised one would be in place by Saturday. I will return over the weekend to take your photo.
I also wonder if they have been moved? The photo on the memorial page is different from their current location.

Your welcome but your message didn't say for what. I glad I was helpful even if I don't know how. Mary

RE: Levi and Isabella Michael
Hi Shelly. I believe you have Levi and Isabella in the lower Morrison Cemetery, which would be correct. That is where I took the picture of the headstone. His parents are the ones buried in Pinson cemetery, John Raymond Michael, and Urania Michael.

Michael's From Pinson
Hi Shelly. I have found out that the Michael's family, (my hubby's great great grandparents) are actually in the Pinson Cememtery in Crawford County. I went to the one in St. Francois just in case, and now I am going to hunt down this other Pinson cemetery and record all the stones I can find there. I will keep you posted.

Pinson Cemetery
Hi Shelly. We are planning a trip to the Pinson Cemetery, to take headstone pics. Jim's great great grandmother is Luarania Cook Michael, and his great grandpa is John R Michael. I just today found them on here! I am so happy!! It should be with in a few weeks.

Are you family to us? We are decended down John and Lurania to their daughter Rebecca Michael Plank and her husband William Rufus Plank, to their son John William Plank.

I plan on getting every tombstone there that I can find.

RE: Thank you!
You are very welcome! I had to go down south and spent a little time doing geneology. My Grandfather's family was from Wellsville. My son and I snapped as many pictures as we could before we lost sunlight. I wish I had gotten there earlier. Hopefully in the spring!

RE: Pinson
Shelly - I sent the same message to several others who requested photos from Pinson Cemetery. One of them lives elsewhere in Missouri. She replied that the law in Missouri is similar to the one in Texas: If you have ancestors or closer family buried in a cemetery that is on private land, then if her report is correct, you have a legal right to visit that cemetery, with assistance from local law enforcement, if that is necessary. I hope she is right.

Also, remember that my visits were in 2006vand 2007, and Pinson was covered by dense vegetation. I hope that the destruction I saw has ended. Perhaps some of the markers we could see back in the dense brush escaped the vandalism that was obvious for markers that were more exposed. Perhaps yours are among the survivors.

If I ever have another chance to visit Pinson, I intend to have several hours available to search for markers. Perhaps someone else can get there sooner.
