Genealogy and family history are my passions.
I have no problem transfering the memorials to people who are relatives unless the person in the memorial is related to me.

 | RE: Wolf (f?) duplicate You're very kind. ;-) It's kind of frustrating at times because you put considerable time into creating memorials, only to be found later as a duplicate.
Well, I've only had a few memorable encounters with families, as of yet. But that is the hope that whoever wants to look will find something....if Find A Grave stays online. Now, I noticed on Ancestry.com that there's a similar site called BillionGraves.com. I haven't found their info to be of any help on Ancestry as of yet. Maybe I'll check it out one of these days... Find a Grave info most always appears before the very few BillionGraves info does in my Ancestry research.
Hope you have a restful night.

Re: Wolf (f?) duplicate Debbie,
Thank you for being so gracious, as always! I agree about the "checking" before creating and still coming up on the "short end" - a memorial is already there. Been there and done that so many times I can hardly count!
But how fun to create the memorials with the hope that families will find them and be able to connect some dots!
Best wishes always! judy :) Added by High Plains on Jun 18, 2013 8:25 PM

 | RE: Janyce Faye Karlsson Hig Plains,
Thank you for the quick response. Sad that her headstone is not made of stone. She and I were best buddies at school, back a long time ago. I always remembered asking my mother what happened to her. Mom said she moved to MN and died there, from leukemia. She was so young. I even at my old age still think about her and always wanted to know where she was buried. Thanks to you, I know where. You are a blessing.

 | Johnston Family Many thanks for taking these photos. Although I am not related, the photos of the stones add information not always included in a memorial. | | | Bjensen

 | plot numbers Only about 10% of the lists I've used have contained plot numbers--I'm glad those for Dawson County have been so helpful.
As for finding more, I would think the cemetery office would have them, but you'd have to check with them to see whether or not they have a list that they would give you.
