John, I truly understand that you would want to keep Fed. No problem. I just thought that if you were only the maintainer, I would bring him into the family. I will certainly try to find the McAnear Family web and see what is going on. I knew absolutely nothing about the McAnear family until I found my great grandfather from a cousin's tree on Ancestry. That was when I started researching this line of ancestors. I am so glad to finally make connections with this branch. I guess that you and I are distantly related, too. Thanks so much for your assistance.

So sorry. He is my 2nd cousin 3 times removed. I am trying to gather McAnear family information to write a book on my line of the McAnears. Those who have no one maintaining them, I am requesting the priviledge; however, I will most happy to transfer to anyone who is more closely related. The choice is yours. I am descended from the only child of John N. McAnear son of Alexander Selkirk. John rode off for the Civil War when Sarah Elizabeth, my ggm, was just a tyke. He died in the Chicago Confederate Prison from pneumonia. I knew nothing about the McAnears until I finally found a clue in some Confederate information. I am trying to put this part of my history together to share with other McAnear relatives. Are you related? | |
