The second paragraph came from the funeral home information. The top part I wrote myself, putting details of what I knew happened. My son called and told me right after it happened. He used to work for Allied and now works for another company. All the guys in the business knew about it and details got around quickly.
Please keep in mind for future reference, for suggestions or corrections that the edit tab on the memorial page should be used rather than the message board. That way the contributor can always be certain of accessing the correct memorial.

Sometimes I get carried away, but when the information comes easily, I just keep adding it! I did see the burials on Find A Grave for his two sons, and I wrote to the managers of their memorials and asked for a link. We'll see if it gets done.
Thanks for sharing the info and editing it for me. When I start adding info to people I don't know I get a little uneasy, because I don't want to put wrong info out there, so I appreciate the checks.
I read your flowers note on Charles' memorial, and I felt that he needed to have a memorial that was as complete as I could make it.

Hi Janalynn,
I don't know if there is a marker for Charles, or not. The information re his age came from the cemetery transcript, which sometimes shows age at death.
I've dug around a bit and added more data to Charles' memorial. If you are related, I'm happy to transfer.
