Salome Hagenbuch
Hello Steve, I found Salome's gravestone and photographed it (Memorial# 24260121). It seems that when they cut the grass, the clippings shoot out over the stones and fill up the engravings. Over the years it turns into a harder substance that cannot be removed with a simple soft brush.

RE: Magdalena Knepper
I will go back to the cemetery this weekend. I did find this page about your family. It lists the cemetery as Rose Cemetery in Navarre, but that doesn't exist. They are indeed in Bose Cemetery in Beach City. Wish me luck...here we go!

Magdalena Knepper
Steve,

My sister and I went to Bose Cemetery to locate Magdalena's grave site for you. We found several Kneppers there, but none said Magdalena. Now, keep in mind that this cemetery has long been abandoned and no one takes care of it. (I am looking to change that.) So many headstones have been knocked over, moved, and/or broken into pieces. When I get a chance, I will return and give it another try.

RE: Knepper Headstone
My pleasure Steve! Since Catharine's husband George's headstone had not been photographed I also added his. If it wasn't for George (whose headstone is much more ledgible, I may not have found Catharine. The great thing about photographs and the internet (findagrave.com) is that these delicate historic headstones though worn by time and the elements, will always remain in their present state forever, never to wear further! If you are interested I took a photo of both George and Catharine's headstones together. Just give me the word and I can email them to you :) Take Care!

RE: Knepper
You're Welcome. I'm still working on the rest of them. It's bugs me when I can't find them & I won't be satisfied until I find out where they are! Some might not have stones. But, I'll find out for sure in the Cemetery Office.

RE: Knepper
It was my pleasure. Greenlawn Memorial is a lovely cemetery even though they tend not to be very helpful. Barb
