Photo Request for Theodore Bucher
Hi Algbas,
I am trying to get you a photo in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston for the following people:

Theodore Bucher and possible other Buchers near by

I contacted the cemetery for the plot locations but the cemetery will only allow me to take a picture if you email them directly, and ONLY if you are the lot owner. They are very strict.

Please contact Forest Hills Cemetery if you are interested. The contact will be: Marianne Bayard (

I would appreciate you letting me know if this won't work out so I can unclaim these photo requests and report a problem on the website. Thank you!

Diane L. Martenet
Julia Cooke
I have an interesting counter diction in Julia's obit. It says her uncle brought her to Baltimore which is incorrect because I have a copy of Jonas Martenet's Passport from Switzerland, and Julia was traveling with him and his wife. They are also listed all together in the ships log along with a younger brother. We assumed that they were Jonas' kids.
You can read for yourself on Find A Grave under Jonas Martenet. Not that you necessarily need to change anything on your memorial, unless a family member contacts you for correct information. Also, Catherine Johannas was Jonas' third wife and he married her here in the USA. I have their wedding papers. Genealogy isn't easy, is it?

Johanna Macke
Re: Find A Grave Memorial# 117311410
Loudon Park Cem Baltimore

In your paragraph on her, you mention at the end John Henry Macke and wife Caroline Macke. These are my g-grandparents, but I have no idea who Johanna or her husband Conrad are.
Do you have any further info on John Henry and Caroline Macke(their burial places, etc). I know that their son John Henry Macke Jr and his wife Magdalena are buried in Woodlawn (Balto County). Two of their other sons (Charles Macke and Edward Macke are buried in Mt Olivet in Balto City.
Any further info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Tom Stansbury
