RE: Tammy pic
That's really cool! Can't wait to see it. In the photo, I'm the little girl on the right, as you know Tammy is the other girl on the left, and the baby is our brother John.

So, it looks like you're my 2nd cousin once removed. Are you still in Indiana? If you don't want to put your info on Find-A-Grave, you are also welcome to email me: .

RE: Relations
My sister was born in 1962 and Nada babysat her for a couple of years, probably until 1964 or 1965? (My sister's dad left my mother while she was still pregnant. Good guy!) Back then, her name would have been Tammy Wyant, but she later took my dad's name after mom remarried.

If you were born before I was, in 1966, you probably saw my big sister at some point. I remember going there and sitting on a stone wall at 'Grandma' Splitstone's house.

Small world, isn't it?

RE: Relations
Hi, Dennis. Is there any chance Nada Splitstone was your grandmother? George had a lot of wives, but I believe he only had children with two of them. I met Nada when I was a little girl. She used to babysit my older sister and we used to call her Grandma Splitstone, even though she was my mom's great-aunt.

I'd really love to see your family photos. How far back have you gotten in the family tree? I have a fair history, but there are a few Misner branches that I'm skeptical about as I added them when I was just starting and didn't verify my information all that well back then. So, I'm going back and rechecking each line but haven't gotten to all of them yet.

Thanks for the greeting, and let me know if you need any help in your research. If you're on Ancestry, you can find my tree at "Arden Misner Nelson Miller McElhoe Dee". Good luck!
