I have been doing genealogy research for about 15 years. The primary surnames I am researching are: Schuetts, Schroeder, Broadbent, Veorster/Voerster, Fischer, Kuhlmeier, Kuhlman, Miller and Blohm. I have had my research pretty much on hold for a few years as family matters took precedence. I recently began again and found what a wonderful sight Find A Grave is and I want to help others. I don't have a lot of time but will get to photos as I can.

RE: Broadbent photos
You are very welcome. I am pleased to be able to help as there doesn't seem to be anyone else in this area who is available.

Kathleen FIscher Fortenberry
I made a memorial for Kathleen FIscher Fortenberry, the daughter of Lawrence and Maisie Sago. I linked her to them. I went to school with Kathleen's husband, Neil. Her number is 125309451

RE: Thank you!!
You're very welcome. We were in the area for a family reunion (live about 4 hrs. away) and wanted to find family members in the Ohiowa cemetery anyway, so I just decided to look at who needed photos taken also. The Johann Schroeder memorial is very puzzling. The obituary clearly says that he was buried in the Ohiowa cemetery; another researcher reported being unable to find it; and I looked through the cemetery registry and his name wasn't listed there either. But there are other Schroeder's in the cemetery, that's for certain!

I see that you're looking for Rippe's also. What a common name that is in the area! We visited over a half-dozen cemeteries in the area, and I think that there was at least one Rippe in at least five of them.

I also "grabbed" information from the Karen Rowe website before it was taken down, and there are Rippe's in her reports there also. I'd be glad to look at the family for you sometime if there's something you're looking for specifically.

Ruth Ellen
