Mary Lou Bordwell
Henry & Mary Stout
I am the g granddaughter of Merta Stout Bordwell Niver Bradshaw. Fifth dau of Henry and Mary. Merta born July 4, 1884 and her mother Mary died July 19, shortly after her birth. Mitchell Co., KS. Merta was given to RD and Sarah Schreader Joiner to raise. They were in the Kansas area in and around the years. The Joiners and Merta came to Central NYS, Cortland County. I have a few photos of Merta as an adult with Florence, Minnie, Nellie and Maggie. It appears as if the comments are from "Stout" family members. I am looking for info as to why Merta was given to the Joiners. Were they friends, neighbors, related? Mother Mary Long was from Iowa but have not been able to locate more on her. Anyone out there know anything more they can tell me? Thanks,
Mary Lou Bordwell, Cortland County, NY.

Thanks to your info, I connected Hosea Stout to his parents. I cannot connect his brother, Henry, as you are the person who maintains that page ----- therefore, you can do that one.
