|Bio and Links|
As a little girl growing up, I loved listening to the stories that my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents told of their life adventures. This fascination has carried over into my interest and hobby of my various family trees. It's not just the dates, names, and places that are important to me, but the stories and pictures behind those dates, names, and places. As I work on each individual's facts, I try to imagine what their life was like, what their day was like, and how they lived each day. Find-A-Grave has been a great resource for me.|
Families I'm researching include:
- Silvernail / Silvernale / Silbernagel
- Benson (North Dakota)
- Ziegelmann / Ziegelman

I am a grandson of Tietje and Rosalie. Thanks for your Find a Grave posting. I have not been to the cemetery but my sister and a couple of my cousins have been there. I have seen the obituary report. I have a copy of the one published in the Richland County Farmer-Globe. I have a question about the picture, where did you get that? I have some other photos of them, but have not seen this one. The ones I have have them looking different, not a quite a match for your photo. Walt Hinck

|John Corcoran||RE: Peter DeFea|
Terri, Yes, Peter DeFea was my grandfather's brother, Frank Deffe'. The spelling variation is a long story with the original spelling being Defe'e. I am in contact with DeFea descendants John Zimbrick and Bob DeFea and will be able to get the album to them. Are you in Hankinson? If so, my sister and I will be there in the middle of June and could pick up the album. Thank you so much for taking the time to try to locate us. My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org Mary Corcoran
|Rudy||Jacob Ruff #122505119|
In the Fredonia, ND Nazareth Parish Church burial records Pg 67 a Jacob Ruff is listed as B. 6-11-1861 D. 3-20-1936 and buried on 3-25-1936.
Being your posting indicates 1936 birth and death 1936 just wondering if perhaps there might be two Jacob Ruff individuals.
I did not see a tombstone for him when I photo'd all tombstones in Sept. 2009.

|Bonnie Starkey||Hans and Caroline Peterson photos|
Thank you so much for the photos you took of Hans Peterson (Find A Grave Memorial#118668384) and Caroline M. Peterson (Find A Grave Memorial#118668232). They are my g-g-grandparents and it's the first photo I've seen of them! If you aren't related to them and would like to transfer management of their memorials, I would be happy to take over.
I'd also like to thank you for the photo you took of Clarance Edwin Starkey (my grandfather's brother) (Find A Grave Memorial#118668232).
|Tri-State Corners Genealogical Society||Maria Gast|
I doubt that Maria is buried at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at Falls City. I did not see any similar stone there. We do not have it on our genealogy society's transcription of stones index. The death date is early for that congregation and its cemetery.
