I research the Rohlfs, Smith, Bolla and Czinke family lineage in Canada and the US with origins primarily from Germany, Norway, United Kingdom, France, Hungary/Slovakia and Italy. My Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Patriot is Captain Amariah Williams from Connecticut whose DAR Patriot number is A125867. His Find A Grave Memorial Number is 59130163.

Sophia, I am helping someone get into the SAR under your Patriot. I am having problems linking John Card to his parents Lewis and Clarinda Card. Do you know anything that might help ?Thank you...John

Wondered where the information came from showing she was 99 years old. I'm working on a genealogy for my best friend. Thanks - Charlene

Arthur Glyde Rohlfs
Sophia, I believe that there is an typographical error in the memorial for Arthur Glyde Rohlfs. His headstone and marriage license says that they were married in 1933 and you have it as 1923.

RE: Daniel Bolla 123530941
No I do not. My husband spoke with him because he had a lawn mower repair shop. My husband said that he didn't speak with an accent but he thought maybe he was German or Hungarian, he never asked.Hope you find your answers.

I am sorry I do not know, I am sure someone in Greenville would know. I spoke to his wife mostly, he was a little shy. I thought that he was probably born somewhere else, but the people closest to him would know. They would be at the Greenville Presbyterian Church.

Diedrich Rohlfs at Demorest Cemetery
Hello, I was looking at the photo request list for Demorest Cemetery In Tuscola County Michigan and noticed you requested a photo for your great grandfather, Diedrich Rohlfs #80534456. I believe you are looking in wrong cemetery. He and quite a few family members are located at Brookside Cemetery (also in Tuscola County). I recognized the name when I photographed the headstones in September. Another contributor created some very informative memorials for them. Diedrich #116667590 and Mary #118416616.

RE: Pink Cemetery (Gurley Cemetery)
I live nearby in Coventry so it's fairly easy to get to Pink Cemetery. I have never been down Ravine Road...and from your description I don't think I will soon!!!
I don't know the history of the cemetery..perhaps they would at the Mansfield Historical Society or the Mansfield Town Hall.
