Bio and Links
Bio Photo I try to watch over and tend to the physical graves of our local Viet Nam losses.

I gratefully receive transfers, but I am not a "collector" and rarely request them except for the closest of relatives. If you wish to transfer to me, you may, and I will care for them. If you choose to maintain memorials you have set up, that's fine, too.

I am now reconsidering transferring outside of guidelines as I have transferred a number of memorials that have not been maintained--updates are not done. I usually do corrections/additions within 24 hours, so if you have "tons" of additional information, please send it. Additions and corrections are celebrated! I truly appreciate those who use the new edit system to send them.

RE: Levi H. Dimick
OK, thank you much. I will pass it along and see what my friend says about this.
Sounds like you are not related to Levi. Just adding people to Find A Grave like so many of us do it appears.

Levi H. Dimick
I have a friend whose all out purpose in life it seems is to transcribe index records or digitalize them I should say. It is rather amazing what she has done digitalizing Oregon marriage records and Oregon death records that the county never got around to doing in the early 1900's.
She for whatever reason does not want to join Find A Grave even though it is free to do so and I don't know why??? She asks me to help her with Find A Grave things once in a while.
Following is a message she sent me today.
Can you answer her question about Levi Dimick.
Levi's Find A Grave # is in the message.

I can't help it Nathan. You are the only Findagrave person that I know and I need help again.

This time, it's Levi H. Dimick, b. 1819, d. Apr 1892 in Conneautville, Crawford co PA. His page is number 130896452.

I tried to send a message to the lady who put it up, and I can't seem to do it unless I am a Findagrave member, and I'm not. Same deal with leaving a public message. Don't they want people to send messages? The same thing happened when I hit the button to request a photo. It's just the pits.

( I put in a request for a photo of Levi's grave today for her)

This is my son in law's family and whether it's because it's Mormon, or some other reason, I'm having some issues finding info. This Find A Grave page notes that he is the son of Ephraim and Cynthia (Couch) Dimick. What I want to know is how she knew that, whether it was a death record, obit or what. Can you help me please?

And one of these days I'm going to have to pay for my requests to you. And being a nuisance.

Bethel Cemetery: Morgan Thompson
Suzanne - I have been researching the Thompson family of Leavenworth for some time. I am interested in Morgan Thompson, Findagrave # 131930439, Bethel Cemetery. When I printed the information for Morgan found at that site in November 25, 2014, his name was Morgan Thompson. Today, it now appears as John Randall Morgan Thompson. I have never seen the "John Randall" names on documents. Is it possible that you are able to give me the name of the document that warranted this change. Thank you. Ann Harris Humble

RE: Jerusha Dibble
Thanks Suzanne,
I appreciate the info. I am only going on what what written in her will. There is no grave anywhere marked for her. Jerusha was her young daughter that died at about 14 years of age.

There would have been no other area in town to bury her, all of her children ar in this cemetery that lived in PA.

I will fin the "Mrs."

Her husband deserted the family between 1850 and 1860 and we have no record of him being buried anywhere or a DOD.

I was so amazed to find her will online....:)

Jerusha Dibble
Hi, I have just found the last will and testament of Jerusha's mother Love Densmore Dibble on
Love is my great great grandmother. She states in the will that she wished to be buried next to JHD in the churchyard of Conneaut Ville. I believe this is Jerusha. Do you know if Jerusha had a stone? Love did not request one. But I am wondering if the records show her buried here. ANY help would be so so appreciated! Love's daughter Mary Louise Dibble who married Jesse O Burgess in Iowa is my great grandmother.

Thank you

RE: Photo for Bessie Mae Ward
The spaces immediately to each side of Bessie and Little did not have a marker. The names of the markers surrounding the Ward burial included Lucy, Hunter, Feagle, McKinny, Garrett, Johnson, Weeks, Lane, and Berrey. I am in the process of posting all of these if you think there could be a connection to Bessie Ward.
