Abigal and Nancy
I am distantly related to both.

Both are accessed by me through my Zolman family line. Distant, but to me related.

So you got a tour of the "big city" of Edon:-)) Who is your wife's family? I lived there for 20 years before moving south to get out of the snow!

Dirrim line
Emma Dirrim transferred to you. Added father Leonard and mother Mary to Sim Dirrim's memorial. Would you happen to have the children of Leonard Dirrim and Mary Goudy and the years that they were born and died?

Parker Atkins
Floyd, What I have on him and his parents, and grandparents are on Find A Grave. You stated that not all the information is correct. I have researched my Atkins line and I would like for you to tell me the source of what you have that proves that it is incorrect.
I'm related through Parkers brother Stephen.
Here are Parkers siblings; Catherine b 1913, Lewis Find A Grave #106065998, Peggy b.1918, Milly b.1916, Morris b.1917, Barney b. 1914, Stephen Find A Grave #6760665

Betty Durrett
RE: Henry Durrett
I have just recently seriously started researching the Durretts (I retired January 1st!). I am trying to prove the lineage for DAR of Henry's grandfather, also named Joel Durrett (1749-1814).
I only have one generation farther back, which is my Joel's father Bartholomew, who was one of the three brothers who came to VA from England. I have some information on all the later ones. Henry is my direct ancestor, the lineage I am searching, but I will be glad to give you anything I have that you don't know yet. You may email me at:

Leonard Dirrim
Floyd: You must have viewed my Find-A-Grave memorial to Leonard Dirrim buried in Hamilton Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. I took several pictures of gravestones for the Dirrim family that day. The sun angle was just right and it was quite warm (80) for a day in early November 2007. I have not formerly identified Leonard as a relative in my geneology software. I went to Family Search today and found Leonard in the 1850 census in Franklin, DeKalb County, Indiana. His father was James, born about 1810, and mother Hannah, born about 1815, both in Pennsylvania. I checked Rootsweb World Connect and found entries by a Becky Jamison which states that James was born in 1809 in Chenango, New York. Father of James was Richard Dirrum Jr. and Hannah Wyckoff. I do have Richard and Hannah in my geneology software as a 4G grandfather and grandmother. I only had two children for Richard and Hannah - William and Isaac. So, even though the state of birth appears questionable for father James, I would now track Leonard's relation to me as a first cousin, forth removed. I apparently did not capture a gravestone picture for your George in Hamilton Cemetery and I do not see a memorial for him in Find-A-Grave, at least in Indiana.

RE: Florence Hussey Sumner
Hi Floyd,

Sorry it has taken so long for me to get to Nora Edna Sumner and Evert Sumner. There are no stones for either of them. Much of the Old Cemetery section has unreadable stones or wooden markers that time has erased. In 1920 Everett(spelling?) and Nora E. are in Otero county Colorado. In 1910 Evert is listed with mother Florence. I checked 1910 census for a Nora in Otero county and got 1 hit - Nora E. Buckles - possibly the right Nora. In 1930 an Everett Sumner is in Canon City, Fremont, Colorado with a wife Ruby (married about 1923) and children Alice, William and Betty.

Sorry I couldn't find stones, perhaps if you go to the library when you are out this way, you will find out something about him and Nora.

P. S. I did not create memorials for them, do you want me to?

George and Emma Kealiher

Thank you for the information for George and Emma Kealiher. I have added it to their memorial. I also added a photo of their grave marker.
