I live in St. Louis, Missouri and love to take pictures and do geneology as a hobby.
I became a volunteer for find a grave because it helped me in researching my ancestors. I hope that by volunteering I can assist others as much as I was helped.
In Lemay, MO, I have photographed all the markers I could find in Oakdale Cemetery and have almost completed Mount Hope.
Your messages are greatly appreciated because they keep me going! Corrections, notification of duplicates (which I try hard to avoid but some slip through) and transfer requests will be done as quickly as possible.

If you're ever back at the Sigerson section (the old part) and can find Johanne Ruebsamen's tombstone again (#28168925) could you try to get a picture of what it says at the top below the clasped hands ... it's probably in German so transcribing it might be more of a pain than just getting a close-up!
