I stumbled across this great site, while doing some geneology. What a surprise it was to find my Dad, great grandfather and many other ancestors... |
My Dad was William Xenophen Ross Jr. His dad was William Xenophen Ross Sr. My great grandfather was McHenry Ross and his 1st wife was Lydia Winkler and 2nd wife was Fannie Wilburn.
I am so grateful to find this site and look forward to exploring it more.
If any of my relatives would like to contact me, I would be so happy to hear from you.
I live in Jackson County, OR... and would be happy to help take photos in our area.

You are very welcome. Glad to help.

You're so very welcome. If you're interested in investigating that unmarked plot between Alma and Elizabeth (Mary), it's Block 47, Section 30, Lot 3. Since you're related, the cemetery might tell you what the status is. Maybe a long-lost family members rests there..

I've transferred your request and also added 2 photos of the corridor where they are interred. Don't hesitate to delete them if you have other photos you'd rather add, since space is limited to, I believe, 5 photos without sponsorship.
Take care and let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

You can ask all you want, and I will be happy to transfer, but you need to do it with the edit tab. Go to the page, hit edit then Suggest any other correction or addition. Make your request there and they will be yours to manage. I always want family to manage there own memorials. I create them so family can find them. Hopefully you can add to the memorials.

Thank you for your efforts! It is not surprising that she does not have a stone; she was receiving assistance from the county her last few years, and they put a lien on her small estate. Her nephew (my grandfather) had no money to help either, this being 10 years into the Great Depression.

Ooooo, we never go for just ONE photo. :)
Winkler Cem looks fairly small, so we'll probably just get 'em all.
Our best wishes for your son in the military.
