In the 1851 England Census, Mary Crompton is listed as born in Tottington, Lancashire, England.
In the 1861 Census she is listed as born in Bury, Lancashire, England. Tottington is inside the larger jurisdiction of Bury. Bury is the Civil Registration District and the Poor Law Union District in whish Tottington is located.
