I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and moved to Lawton, Oklahoma in 1990. I have a brother in Northern Oklahoma and a sister in the Texas. I have been researching my family for about 35 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. Cemeteries are one of my favorite places to search for relatives. I plan to post many more memorials on Find A Grave now that I have more time.

Kay,
Just sent you the correct number for Martha's mother using the edit button on the memorial. Thank you so much for linking them and letting me know I had made a mistake.

RE: Frank & Edith Beall
Thank you for pointing this out. I have deleted the Fairview cemetery memorials. Interesting that Frank's parents and son were buried at Fairview but they are at Fairlawn Cemetery. Are you related to the family?

RE: Re: Esther & Vester Hood
Did you happen to take a photo of that headstone? It probably used to say Kenny or Kenneth. His name was Vester Kenneth or Kenneth Vester, depending on who you ask. Sometimes I can use photo editing software and darken shadows or invert colors and see more than what I can with the naked eye. He and his sister are both buried in that cemetery according to family stories. Luvalla was their sister.

Their grandparents are buried there somewhere too, but the cement headstones have long since crumbled, and from what I have heard, the record book is falling apart and the pages are so brittle the caretaker won't turn the pages to look anything up. They really ought to be scanned to make copies and then preserved.

Thank you for the picture of Raylyn Coosewoon. We haven't been back to OK since her service and we really appreciate being able to see the stone.
