Kastiens in Beach City Cemetery
Paul,

I also found several other Kastien's in the Beach Cemetery and have added their memorials and photos of their markers. There is one more for sure that I didn't get yet - I will try to get that one soon and add it to the cemetery listing.

Regards, High Plains :)

Josie Jane Kastien
Paul,

I found her and have entered her memorial in the Beach City Cemetery and have added a picture! I was SO excited!!

I just wrote a long message to you but it is "under review" - I know why and hope that you will receive that message within the next few days.

Best wishes
High Plains :)

Thomas & Rhoda Richardson
Hi Paul,

Thomas buried next to his first wife is not uncommon. In fulfilling photo requests I have on many occassions found the wife buried with her first husband instead of her last one. It is sometimes hard to find the wife without a little genealogy searching. I have also seen the wife buried between her two husbands, on the same lot.

I'm glad some of your questions have been answered.

Don

RE: Mr. & Mrs. Yost at Kilgore Cemetery
It has been suggested that Lt. and Mrs. Yost purchased these plots at Kilgore Cemetery, but perhaps were buried somewhere else, as there are no headstones for them, and birth/death dates are missing from the cemetery's information. We may never know. Did you find anything? Sorry, but I was out of town for the long weekend. Sandy

Paul...I would like to say how mad I am at the person who started Esmond Cemetery on Find A Grave, they could of took the time to put in the dates...and I have asked her to transfer the cemetery to me so I could do that, but I get no response, so I plan on working on it in the near future, cuz I went to the township and copied their book to do it...but your dates for Charles is 1907 to Sep. 26, 1972, and he is buried next to Anna F Baylis 1910 to May 13, 1980. As soon as I get the chance, I'm going to start photographing all the stones at Esmond Cemetery and add them with the listings.

Bertha Best
For more on Bertha, you can go to www.seekingmichigan.org. In the red column, do search advance, enter Best for last name, 1920 for death year, and Muskegon for county. Her name should come up Bertha Belle Best. Click on the name and see her death cert., it includes her husband's name, parents names, cause of death, etc. You are most welcome. MJ
