Hi...they photo you have posted as Elijah Grant (16338564) is actually an photo of his son, Edward, when he was an older man. I came across photos of the whole family and the one you posted had Edward's name on the back and if you compare, you can see the similarities between younger and older Edward.

Caroline M. Wallace death notice
I notice that you have added death notices for several of my Wallace & Woodmansee relatives in Ann Arbor, MI. I was wondering if we are related. My grandmother was a Woodmansee & I have lots of information on Woodmansees via a book on the Descendants of Garbriel Woodmansee. My email is

Thanks for finding that error about Lobar instead of Labor! Sometimes its hard to decipher writing on birth certificates but actually on this one it was clearer after you mentioned it. I changed the description to what you found.

Thanks again, Dennis Tomlinson

Wellman family, Washtenaw County, Michigan
It's my Wifes's Family side. Phila Wellmans' son Reuben Lee ended up on the west side of the state and married into the Lillie Family in Coopersville, Ottawa County, Michigan back in 1851. I had the Lillie side down. But on Reuben all I had was a Death Certificate with his fathers name on it. And the New York Black Hole to deal with if you know what I mean. It took a few years and;

To put the final pieces into place.

I Don't know if I shared this but;

Page 128 to 132 finished it off for me. Invaluable document.

RE: Charlie Ross
Did you find those obits? What newspaper would they have come from. I could do some research from that paper?

Charlie Ross

Are you related to Charlie Ross? I am. I am searching for information on his middle name and his father's (William S. Ross) middle name. And. any other facts about them. I am also determined to find out who another baby who is buried in this family plot is.....Ricky Allen Reed --I have absolutely no idea who he is. Please let me know if you can help in any way.

Mable Begole edit
I have made your suggested edit to Mable's page. I have also created a page for Mable's twin sister Maud. It turns out the twin sisters died one day apart in 1962.
