RE: Mildred Laverne Bryant
Thank you for the info on Mrs. Bryant. I have included this info on the memorial and added her maiden name & birthplace. If you are a relative, I would be happy to transfer management. Please just request through the edit tab of her memorial.
Thanks again,
A. Clark

RE: Mathews/Mathis name change
Mr. Blackenship,

Would you please email me direct @ jt33584@yahoo.com. I am very interested in your Mathis info. James B. was my Grt Grandmother
Mattie Mathews/Mathis Gray Kelley's father.

Thank you much,

RE: Mathews/Mathis name change
Thank you for the reply. I do have records from 1860-1880 showing James B. and his father James M. as Mathews and was told a rather strange story as to why the surname changed to Mathis around the turn of the century. Will share the story if you contact me direct at jt33584@yahoo.com. Also, wondering how you found the GGG grandfather, the father of James Monroe Mathews? Would love to share what I have with you and also the 1900 family photo of James and Lizzie. Your grandfather James had left home by then and is not in the photo.

Mathews/Mathis Taylorsville
Hello, since it appears we are related, (my great grandmother was Mattie Mathews (husbands Fate Gray & Jack Kelly) daug. of Jas. B. and Lessie Mathews) could you please share with me if you have any info as to why the Mathews changed their surname to Mathis?

RE: Lillie Mae Davidson May
There seems to be a technical glitch. Johnny should be linked to both his parents. I emailed find a grave to correct the issue.
