RE: you are masha's sister right
we only met a few times actually. I do remember me and Marsha going to your tiny lil house house on sonoma and I remember you showing us your wedding photos. It was just amazing!!! I can still close my eyes and see your beautiful wedding pictures. Like you, I miss Marsha a lot. I made the find a grave memorial for her. I ran into your Mom a few times over the years and I was sad to hear she had passed. Did you know that my daughter is your cousin? her name is Kathyrn Elizabeth Jo Lynn Williams. She is now 39 yrs old and what a great person she turned out to be. she is a mom of 2 boys 16, and 18 such a good Mom! She honored me when she told me she loved her childhood and asked me to help her with her boy,so she could pursue a career, so I was nanny granny for the boys whole lives. The boys are turning out very well too. respectful, good moral value. My eldest is attending C of O a christian college Gosh I love them so much. Do you have Facebook Bonnie?my email for Fb is if you would like to add me if you have it. What has your life been like? Hugs Donna

RE: Fannie Griffiths
I found Fanny's grave today. Her stone is gone, but the flag is where she is buried. After reading the book, I learned the family's farm was very nearby the cemetery. I drive by the farm site frequently. It is now downtown Stockton.

RE: Fannie Griffiths
I found her! She's at the Stockton Rural Cemetery, Fannie Ann Griffiths. Will go down tomorrow and hopefully they will be able to find her grave. Often the headstones were just wood and are unreadable or missing. If her parents are there, do you want them as well? She actually died April 10, 1871 of an "aneurysm of the head." She was 11 years old.

If you can tell me why you think she is at this cemetery, that would help. They have no record of her, but it's such an early grave... there are any number of cemeteries in this area that she might be in. We did not really have many cemeteries at the time of her death. Many people were buried on their ranch/farm and later moved to small city cemeteries. Any additional information you can provide would be helpful. I would like to help you find her grave.
