|Katherine (Kathi) White||Genesee Co. Poorhouse - photo request|
The fenced area at the Genesee Co. Poorhouse cemetery is not a *real* cemetery. It's a makeshift area that a handful of tombstones (some found in the basement of the Poorhouse) where placed in memorium. I have been to the site that is now the Rolling Hills (Haunted) Asylum. The hill out back is purported to contain all the unmarked burials of those that died at the asylum. Unfortunately, there are no records or so *we* are always told. The "hill" is now completely covered with mature trees and thicket. It would not be possible to even get in there let alone look for stones that don't exist. Very very sad situation. I've also sent this info to you via photo request (review & remove) as I'm afraid this is one request that will forever go unfulfilled :( You can probably google a lot of information of Rolling Hills and the Poorhouse in hopes of finding anything that may have been added in recent years. It's been a while since I was there.

Thank you so very much in taking the time to take a picture of the grave. Is there any possible way that you can turn the photo?

I added the information for the husband and children that are deceased- did not list the child still living. Loved that you linked the siblings- I did not know you could do that.

The memorial has been linked to the father's memorial page. Let me know if you want anything in the biography section.
Cooper's are now linked as requested!

High, I could not find the names you cited in my data base. I have Solomon and Mary Warren but none of the children. I searched for the children and could not find them. Are they entered into findagrave yet? If they are not then you need to create memorials for them and then you can link them yourself. If they are already part of Finbdagrave then you need to contact the person/persons that manages those memorials to make the link. You must provide them with the memorial numbers from Solomon and Mary's memorials for them to be able to do that. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you run into any problems, I would be more than happy to help. If I have missed something here and they are part of my management then I would need their memorial numbers in order to make a connection.

I have added photos for Elizabeth, William and Charlie. I was unable to locate any markers with any variation of O'Roarke.

A few interesting notes: the Curtis and Thayer headstones are located in the southern half of the combined cemeteries. Information about Henry's wife "Susie" is engraved on the "Storms" headstone, which may imply that that was her maiden name?? The "Storm's headstone is located between the "Curtis" and "Thayer" headstones. I have additional photos that will more clearly demonstrate the above.
Send an e-mail address if you are interested.
Update is completed! The pictures you added are really good. Thank you.
