I have been researching my family's name Clephane for many years and now want to list their names and other branches in the grave sites that I know exist.

RE: Tranfer a grave to me
I found the dates for Anne Laird Clephane in the cemetery on-line records. They often contain errors so your information is most likely more accurate. - thank you

RE: duplicate spouces on 101339259
Hi Tom,

I wish I could help you with the duplicate spouse issue on the Alan Clephane memorial #101339259, but I don't manage the memorials for either spouse so I can't remove and/or delete the spouses. The memorial for Rebecca #101339393, created on 11/26/2012 is managed by you and the memorial for Rita #49167827, created on 03/05/2010 is managed by John Anderson. You'll have to contact John Anderson to see if he'll delete the memorial for Rita. I've noticed, however, that in the case of duplicates, Find-A-Grave etiquette gives preference to the older memorial which would be Rita's. You might consider deleting your memorial and posting your photo and information to the memorial created by John Anderson. If you do post your photo let me know and I'll gladly delete the photo that I've posted.

Best,
Loretta

RE: transferring or deleting a gravesite
I have admin authority so I will merge mine into yours and make sure you end up with control. Otherwise, the photo the volunteer took and the flowers that were left would be lost. In general, in the future just request the memorial be transferred to you before making a duplicate. There are many people who have the Arlington memorials in virtual cemeteries and all their links will now be broken. I would have transferred it to you within probably 5 minutes of getting a request. Making duplicates has you run the risk of getting your account revoked if the admins detect it, so please be more careful in the future.

Sure Tom, that's fine. I'll delete mine.

Tom, Thank you for informing me of an error. This correction will make a big difference when other researchers cross-reference data.
