Thank you for adding the headstone photos to Jack B. Carmean, memorial # 31494075.
Can you tell me if they were taken at the Giddings City cemetery?
Another contributor thinks they are buried in the Giddings Memorial Cemetery.
I did not create the memorials and can not find any records to show where they are.
Thank you for any help, Anna Carmean

I want to thank you for posting picture of his tombstone. I hit key too soon earlier and it went before message was added. Sorry. You did a marvelous job on a big stone. Thank you.

I didn't realize that only one of these 94 graves have been photographed. Someone inventoried the cemetery and published it. It would be quite an accomplishment to photograph these graves. Some of these people were citizens of the REPUBLIC OF TEXAS.

I would add the directions to the cemetery page of Guthrie Cemetery (old) if I knew how. I found them in my book LEE COUNTY, TEXAS CEMETERIES VOLUME NO. 1 published by the Lee County Historical Commission.

Guthrie Cemetery (old): directions
From USH 77 at SH 21, take USH 77 north for 7.6 miles to Loop 123 (FM 112). Turn left for 1.3 miles. Turn left on FM 112 for one block. Turn right for .3 miles; turn right on CR 320 (Belton Road) for 3.1 miles to gate of Elton C. Wren farm on right. Go through gate folling pasture road down fence, then veering to left through pasture for .2 mile to Cemetery on right.

RE: request error
Hello, again

R. H. Northrup should be buried next to his wife, A. E. Northrup in Giddings City Cemetery, Giddings, Lee Co., TX. A photo has been taken of his her grave & is posted on Findagrave. Maybe that could help with the location?

Would you explain what it means next to my photo request: "Claimed" ??

Thank you again ...

request error

I received a message that there was an error in my photo requests at Giddings City Cemetery. I have requested two photos -- R. H. Northrup & Vivian Northrup. Maybe there were others that caused a problem?

Would you let me know how to correct my requests? I am sorry if this has caused you problems. All of us appreciate your contributions. Thank you so much.
