Jim, Stanley Curtis Potter is my grandfather. I'm trying to trace our family tree back. I've been told his mother Maggie was Cherokee or Creek Indian, but I'm having trouble finding records past that. How would I trace it back to find the actual Indian ancestry. Thanks!
