Bertrand Arthur Goodbread #150513386
Hi Audra!

I have a book that Bertrand received as a Christmas present in 1885. He signed his name to it. A friend of my does antiques and he came across it. We did a search on the name inside and we're sure this book belongs to him as he also put in the town. I am unable to contact family researchers I see on Ancestry from our library, although I can see their trees. We'd really like to get this book to the family. I looked at the links you have for him and family and I didn't see where one had been transferred to a family member... SO... if you are a family member, or know how to reach one, we would love to get this book back to them. Please contact me with any information that you have or if you have access to ancestry trees and can message a family member, that would be awesome. I'm sure they would love to have this. Thanks! Colleen

RE: Scruggs memorial # 12714831
Make sure the links are correct. I'll be glad to transfer your grandparents to you, if you like. Just send me your contributor #.

RE: Messner graves in United German Cemetery
John Messner was my great-grandfather. His daughter Julia was my grandmother. I'll see if I can locate some other Messners to add to the memorial, and I'll make a note of your info in the bio. My brother, and his wife (who happens to be German), get back to Germany every year and found a boatload of Messners in Trossingen, where that's apparently a very big name.

I'll see what I can do. Looks like we're related!

RE: William Francis Scruggs
The Memorial was actually created by someone else, I only submitted the cemetery photo. Sorry I do not have any information.

I only took the photo of the cemetery entrance. The memorial was created by "Karen" She may have the documents that you need.

I have made the link and added the dates to Lawrence Scruggs. Thank you for the information. On his mother's site, you have Scruggs as her maiden name, when it was her married name and you have Lawrence's name spelled with a "u" where you can see on his crypt that it is spelled with a "w". Interesting story on his mother. Thanks again for the info.
