I am Frank Beckham, currently a resident of Tennessee. I grew up in the piney woods of central Louisiana and am a product of Mississippi with Mississippi born parents.|
I've been chasing ancestral ghost since about 1970. The longer I'm at it, the easier it seems to get, especially with the help of Ancestry.Com.
Some of the lines I'm following are Beckham, Symes/Sims, Cawthorne/Cauthen, Richardson, Ivy/Ivey/Ivie, Waites, Wilson, McGraw, Edrington, etc. I'm happy to discuss their geneology with you.
I'll do my best to give you fast accurate info on the Memorials I manage. If you find an error, a note to my e-mail or a public note with accurate info will get it corrected.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you, sometimes I do get sidetracked.

Many thanks Frank for researching for our collective family and discovering this couple's cemetery.
I have requested a headstone photograph and I will let you know when it comes in.
Happy holiday season with a big neck hug and a kiss, Wendy
|GVMP Vols||RE: Paul Dean White & wife|
Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we have no record of Catherine White being interred at Grandview. In addition to not being on the database, we also checked the original cremation and interment ledgers for a month following her date of death, and didn't find her.
Also looked to see if we could find an obit for her, but there wasn't anything in any of our resources.
Sadly, this often happens with the last spouse to pass, especially if specific instructions were not left, or there were no close remaining family members.
Probably the best way to find out for sure would be to order an Informational copy of her death certificate from the Orange County Recorder's office here:
Unfortunately, it costs $21, but at least you'd know for sure.....
|robert corbridge||the ivie family|
I tried emailing to email@example.com. Would that be yourself. I read a post of yours, i believe about will hugh ivie's son jesse ivie who married sarah anderson. Years ago in midvale utah i ran across this info, and i believe it is the right link for david anderson ivie who married sarah allred. Can you fill me in on this geneology. There is a lot of confusing info about david anderson being born in 1786. I believe that is someone else.

|Ancestral Sleuth||Andrew Jackson "Jack" Beckham|
Did Andrew have a daughter named ELMA L. BECKHAM?
Familysearch.org has a female name ELMA in their system. I'm trying to square it away and need your help, I appreciate it.
|Allison McGraw Strange||Oh my|
Im sorry about the delay, Frank. Yes, I sure am Charlie L. McGraws Grandaughter! He's still puttering around Swartz, finding things to get into. I had meant to tell my dad (Charlie H.) that you had written me. Dad has spent countless hours gathering information on our family, and has made a rather big collection so far! Even some of Pappaws war stories, which are so interesting!!
|Allison McGraw Strange||Thank you!|
I found the picture you uploaded for the McGraw family. My dad was very pleased to see some of his kinfolk that he remembers from his childhood. We tried showing Pappaw the pictures, but his eyesite is getting bad and he couldnt enjoy them. Thank you!
|Laura Pittman McCammon||Downs/Beckham|
I am Laura McCammon. My Brother-in-law is William Downs, son of Marvin Downs. He has asked me to trace the Downs family tree for him. I think some of it has already been done but haven't been able to find a copy. Am I correct in that a father and a son(Downs) married Beckham sisters? I appreciate what you have done concerning the Downs plots and I'm sure the rest of the family feels the same. If there is any pertinent info you can reveal to me concerning this family, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again for your work. Laura McCammon
