| Bio and Links | I have been researching my family genealogy since 2011. My father would tell stories of when he was a young boy growing up in Holden, West Virginia. As I grew older, I was curious who these people are and where they lived. Also it is a good way to find out who my people are. I've found they live in Beckley to Slab Fork and Glen White to Sophia. Most of my family I've found so far where coal miners, most likely in Winding Gulf Field. Surnames I'm interested in at this time are: RAGLE, JESSUP, Lonker, Nichols.
Thanks LM Ragle

 | Re: Ragle Memorial You're welcome! Juanita is transferred. If the weather is nice this weekend my husband and I are using 2 sets of eyeballs and walking the entire Calfee Cemetry again to see if we can find markers for 5 I haven't found there before. If we don't find them this time I will just ask people to annotate that they don't have markers. Hope to find your DALTON. Best to you! | | | historianne
 | William Frederick Dalton Hi! You recently added this listing to Calfee Cemetery. I finished adding every gravesite in Calfee this past summer and I am suspicious of any grave added after then- unless newly buried. Since he died in 1944, he is either not buried there or he does not have a gravestone. There is a request for a photo of his stone which has me searching. Please tell me your source for this burial in Calfee- death certificate? obituary? Thank you and have a great Valentine's Day! | | | historianne
 | Re: SPICER Thanks for making the changes. Hopefully, the rest of the family will "turn up" someday. | | | Russ Pickett
 | RE: Memorial 68386406 Hi, The change has been made. In the future please use the "edit" button on the top right of a memorial for changes and additions. It makes it easier on this end to find them. Thanks. :-) | | | Sue
 | RE: Kermit Carson Ragle I attempted to transfer as requested, but got the following message:
"No record of this Contributor ID in our system. You must enter the 'Contributor ID Number' which is available on the contributor's profile page, listed just after their name at the top of the page."
Could the number be in error?Added by Sue on Nov 13, 2012 5:14 AM | | | historianne

 | RE: Paul Ragle Hi Linda,
Yes, Paul would be Fred's brother. He was the son of Samuel Ragle and Josie Hutchinson (you have parents for Fred as : Charles Samuel Ragle & Josephine America Hutcherson, so I presume these are the same people). There was no Utah death certificate for Paul, becuase he died in an accident near Wells, NV. After some searching, I was able to find a small obituary for him. It did not list his siblings by name, just that he was survived by six brothers and five sisters. He married Ruth Hamilton. I transcribed the obituary and posted it on his memorial. Hope this helps.

 | RE: JW Norman J.(maybe James)W. Norman and Emma are buried in the Old Beaver Ridge Cemetery, Knox Co., TN. You can look them up on Find A Grave. They are in the 1880 census of Knox Co., TN James 23 and Emma 20 with two children Oma 2 years old and R.?M.N. (is this your Rufus?) 6/12th born Dec 1879. I am not sure who J.W.'s parents where, I will try to find out when time permits.
