|Judy M||Lester family|
I am just checking to see if you are a Lester descendant. I descend from Jane (Chambers) and David Lyster/Lester. Both of them are buried in the Indianapolis Cemetery in Mahaska County, Iowa. I thank you for your postings of the family graves around Mahaska County. Although I live in a neighboring county, I hadn't realized there were so many buried in cemeteries besides Indianapolis.

If you are still active, please add your monument plaque photo at memorial 52532104 to the Find A Grave cemetery called "Pierce Park and Riverwalk" at Providence County, Rhode Island. Thanks
You maintain the memorial for Mary, in Cooper County. I have just uploaded a photo that shows the PROBABLE location of where her marker once stood, next to her husband Henry's.
Just thought you would like to know. :D

When I found Mary, she took me to the cemetery. She asked me who I was looking for. I told her Guyer, which didn't ring a bell, but the name Smith she remembered seeing. Unfortunately this cemetery was at one time in a cow pasture, so not one stone is standing on its own. Now neglected, but years ago, Mary did fence it, but the damage was already done. :o(

You are welcome. This is no where near where Phil was going to take me. Thanks to the map you sent me really help and finding a farm house with people living in it. I will retake the pictures after a hard freeze when everything is dead and look for more stones. I will also get a picture of the whole cemetery, it's about 15 foot x 25 foot. :o)
