I am an avid ancestry researcher. About 10 years ago it started out as a hobby and is now a passion. I enjoy peeling the layers off of the history of the families. I am currently researching Taylor/McCreary, Bollinger/Ringkvist and Formhals/Green (England)and these all lead into a multitude of other family groups.
Going out into the cemeteries and taking pictures has also been a joy as I feel like I am walking in the history of my loved one's or someone else's loved ones. I often wonder what their story is because everyone has one.
I am married (he is very tolerant of the research). We have 5 adult children and 6 grandchildren. We live in the southeastern part of Michigan.

RE: John W Goll
Pamela, I read your bio and I'm guessing we are very much alike! The Goll's are the family of a very good friend of mine. I've researched and documented quite a bit of her & her husband's family just because I love doing it and she appreciates having it. Thank you for asking me first. One of my pet peeves is when I take pictures and haven't gotten them on and someone else puts one on. I was down in Riga Cemetery and have pictures from there but now that I think of it don't think I went to the Blissfield cemetery. Don't know how I knew that he was there unless my friend told me (Jn W was her grandfather) or I got it from an obit. I would be glad to have you put the picture on his memorial. Thanks! Rowena

RE: Willard Goff
Thanks for the offer, you can post the photos if you like, doesn't matter to me. I went to Pleasant View hoping to find the gravestones of James Jones (1834-1920) and his wife Amelia, hoping to take photos but could not find the graves. I suppose I'll have to check burial records at the Township Hall. Do you know where that is?
