Became interested in Genealogy when my husband passed away. My children needed to know about their heritage which has become very difficult. We learn from these difficulties that writing names, birthdate, deathdate, residence, work, church, etc are so important for the future of our children. My findings are small compared to those of others, and wish so much that I had ask more questions of my family while I could. Thank you to those who have helped me learn the "in and outs" of the SEARCH. Correction is a Good Thing.

RE: Allen's
No problem, I really just wanted my own ancestors. Their markers are there but they were buried on a hill in the woods a couple miles away.

RE: Whitley, Sharman, Posey
You're very welcome. I took pics of all the plots. I uploaded pics for Ennie Lucille Posey Whitley. You can contact Harriet Scott at the City Clerk's Office about the ant hills at 256-329-6717. Since the city owns it, there is no cemetery office, only a worker's bldg.

Best Regards,

Whitley Family
Hi Sara,

I see you have some photo requests for the Whitley's. I'm close to the cemetery but haven't claimed them as I'm temporarily unable to walk around a big cemetery. Do they have a family plot? This cemetery has lots of them. If no one has claim and taken the photos by the time I'm back on my feet, I will go take the photos.

Make a memorial for your Aunt Lottie. Then request a photo and I will add it to her memorial.

Henry Clay Lewis
I am the great neice of Henry Clay Lewis, my grandmother Bessie Elizabeth Lewis Williams was the sister of Uncle Henry. I would appreciate it you could transfer his memorial to me. If not I understand. I have been searching for his grave for a long time. Most of the family has passed and could not give me the information on his burial. I would like to link his parents and sibling if possible.

Thank You,
S Mitchell-Grant

RE: Transfer DeMouy, Mary & Earl
I just transferred them. Newton E. DeMouy, Jr. was married twice. I had a date for his second marriage but not his first marriage to Mary Crenshaw. In order to get them listed in proper order I had to make up a date so I put 1942. You might want to correct that if you know the actual date.

Crenshaw and Phillips
Some time today I will unlink the links I have done on your family and delete my pages added. Then you can add your own.
