I have been an avid Genealogist for over 25 years and enjoy tracing my family tree. Coupled with a love of photography, Find-a-Grave is the perfect venue for me to explore both at once. When I am not busy with family, traveling or one of my many other hobbies, I can be found reading over newspapers and records in search of those elusive ancestors.

Moore family
Hello,
While searching the site, I came across this message you traded with "Glenn".

RE: MOORE family members
Katherine, Edward, Joseph & Margaret Moore have been transferred to you. There are also memorials for Helen and Olive Moore. It's been a while, but as best I remember, they were on the opposite side of Joseph & Margaret's stone and appear to be daughters who died in childhood? Do you know anything about them?

I know about them, as Joseph & Margaret are my great grandparents. The two little girls were theirs, along with a third girl (Bessie) that also died young. I have not found her. There were two boys that lived, one of whom became my grandfather Joseph A. Moore, Jr. He and his wife are buried in Bay Shore. Edward & Katherine mentioned above would be my Great-Great grandparents.
Do you (or Glenn) know my family?? Thanks so much for taking care of these pages!

You are very welcome! I am really just a go-between in requesting the photos, if you double-click on the photo you will see the name of the wonderful Guide at American Battle Monuments Commission in Manila that took the photo! My husband's uncle is buried there as well and after they were so kind in taking a photo, it is my honor to pay it forward.

We shall never forget their ultimate sacrifice.

Best regards,

Rebecca

RE: Nancy Ann Youngblood Julian
Thank you. John and Nancy Ann Julian were my great grandparents, my grandmother being Martha Ann Julian Jenkins from Greenville SC. If anyone would like info re her family, let me know. There are pictures and relatives on Pat Calwell's tree on Ancestry.com. I think there is one showing me standing beside John A. Julin taken in 1930 when I was three and he was 94.

You're very welcome. Very pretty lady should have a photo of herself on her memorial page. I was glad to do it.

Nancy Snn Youngblood Julian
Thank you very much for the picture of Nancy Ann Youngblood Julian's grave stone. She was my great grandmother. Also, would you please take a picture of her husband, John A. Julian, b.1837 d. 1934, CSA, who no doubt is buried right beside her?
