Live in Eastern Mass. Looking for gravestones from places as varied as New England, New York, Pittsburgh, PA, New Jersey, Ohio, Louisville and Glasgow, KY.
I enjoy photographing tombstones in Jewish cemeteries. For help in reading Hebrew, I suggest JewishGen's Reading Hebrew Tombstones at http://www.jewishgen.org/InfoFiles/tombstones.html. | |

 | RE: Weger in Chevra Shaas, West Roxbury Elizabeth - that would be great, I would be glad to accept the memorial if not a problem. - Steve | | | Stephen Giardini
 | RE: Weger in Chevra Shaas, West Roxbury Hi Elizabeth, I saw your reply about Louis & Minnie. Yes they are the parents of Harry Weger. | | | Stephen Giardini
 | Harry Weger Just writing to say thank you for transfer of Harry's memorial page and taking the grave stone photograph. Harry and Sylvia are the parents of a good friend of mine, and she'll be touched to know that she can visit their graves on-line.

 | RE: Greeleys in Graceland You are so welcome. If you haven't already, I highly recommend contacting Graceland and getting a copy of the plot map and a listing of all the Greeleys in Graceland. There may be others without monuments or in other locations. Regards, Bob | | | andringa

 | RE: Jacob Christoph Bieler family monument Awesome!! Yes, they are also daughters of Jacob - I hadn't found a date of death for Sophia C. Bieler Peltier, but I knew she'd died before 1920. She married Alfred N. Peltier, a machinist, on June 1st 1907 when she was age 40 (he was 36), & I've not found any children.
And I knew Matilda Louisa had died before 1940, only. She was born in Cambridge & worked as a bookkeeper for a cracker company. Matilda, Mary & Alice lived together for many years, and never married as far as I've been able to tell.
I was a little disturbed to not see a death date for Alice, but she was the last one to be buried - Dec. 21, 1965, & maybe there was no one left to take care of it. I'll talk to my family - hopefully, we can follow up & have the little plate detached & stamped with her death date.
We actually have a Facebook page for this branch of the family! We've met people across the country who are descendents of Jacob. Is there any chance that you'd transfer Sophia & Matilda over to me after you create them & put up the photos? It would mean a lot!! Thanks so much!!
