They were my g-g-grandparents. Where can I get a copy of the picture you posted on their memorial? Are you a descendant?
|bill wealot||RE: Mother Reinhard|
Let me know if you have any family pictures to add as portraits or would likw to take over managment of the memorials. i was even thinking we might have a common ancester in sarah Reinhard of PA. but my relative was a Sarah Bernhardt who alledgely got the name when she married a former French soldier that had come over with Lafayette during the American Revoulution and then ran off when he found he couldn't get at his wife's money. Needless to say I'm highly suspious of that account. Bill
Mr. Robinson, The notation you have under the tombstone picture in Fairfax Cemetery interests me. If this person is Suzy M. Whiles, the daughter of George Whiles & Leola Etta Surber found in the 1900 & 1920 Osage Co., OK census, are you sure her 1st marriage is to George Whiles?
Do you know where the name "Binkley" came from?
Hoping you are related to the family.

So glad to be able to help out.
|Liz R.||RE: Many thanks|

Hi, I was not the creator of the memorial, so I don't know about the date. The creator transferred several to me due to his declining health. There are 2 other Winstons in that plot, Olga and William Burton. Neither have a stone or date information recorded. Another apparent relative is Nellie Winston Bailey and her family in the plot. There are stones for them.

You're welcome, and thanks for the compliment. There were two other family members in the same plot, Florence 65245367 and W.H. Bill 65245389, I added photos to their memorials.
|Bob Collins||RE: John Stevens|
The Stevens Family has 18 conjoined lots--a huge circle cut into pie wedges. There is an enormous underground vault there--and very few markers. I count 68 burials listed on Green-Wood's burial database at:
The nuance is this: the Stevens lots cross the borders of 4 numbered sections. So you have to search the surname "Stevens", and then look for all burials in lots 10402 through 10419 REGARDLESS OF THE SECTION NUMBER. In the section column, you'll see 75, 98, 150, or 160, as the acse may be. Those numbers are all correct and represent the same group of graves.
I'll check it out, but I doubt that John Stevens is memorialized on a stone there. Nevertheless, he's there.
