Bio and Links
Bio Photo Retired professor, free-lance editor, anal-compulsive genie. I like to walk, have a small camera, and live in an area of central Illinois with several small, very old, family cemeteries. Happy to do someone's footwork. Family names I'm researching include Rivers, Cahill, Hayes, Wolf , Burkey, and Bushu. I am particularly stumped by the Rivers family, origins in Ireland, immigration to Ohio in 1890s.

The people listed above are my 2X great grandparents. Do you have the ability to rotate the photo you provided of their grave marker to an upright position? I can't find a way to do it, even though I manage their sites. Thank you so much for taking the photo of the marker. Are you a relative? They are buried in Mackey Cemetery in Piatt County, Illinois.

RE: Frank Jean
Frank and Marilyn were divorced years ago. They must have made arrangements to be buried together. As far as I know Frank never remarried. My paternal family hasn't/doesn't keep in touch since my parents divorced back in the 1970's. I'd appreciate it if you would send it on and thank you so much for contacting me and offering. I haven't been back home to Illinois since the early 1980's.
